England’s Red Roses will finish their WXV Global Series campaign against the USA Women’s Eagles at Sports Illustrated Stadium in New Jersey on 30 October, giving John Mitchell’s side another transatlantic test after last year’s World Cup opener.
England Rugby confirmed the fixture as the final stop of the Red Roses’ 2026 Global Series schedule, while USA Rugby’s schedule lists a 5:15pm local kick-off in Newark before the USA Men’s Eagles face Australia XV.
New Jersey fixture gives England a sharper away marker
The match carries more weight than a routine autumn date. England beat the USA 69-7 in Sunderland in the opening match of the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup, a night watched by a then-record tournament crowd of 42,723. That result framed the Red Roses’ title run, but this return meeting shifts the setting and the pressure.
For the USA, hosting England at a major East Coast venue is a commercial and competitive statement before the 2033 Women’s Rugby World Cup on home soil. It also gives the Eagles a high-profile closer after two October meetings with Italy in Texas and Tennessee.
For England, the fixture extends a schedule built around visibility as much as form. The Red Roses remain the benchmark team in women’s rugby, but away games against ambitious hosts are the tests that harden depth beyond the Six Nations rhythm.
