Rugby Union news today as Dave Rennie names his team for the third test, Henry Pollock has an offer heading towards £1 million a year and much more.

All Blacks name their third test team 

Dave Rennie named his team for the third test of Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry Tour. Asafo Aumua comes into the lineup for Codie Taylor and Sam Darry comes in at lock for Fabian Holland.

The backline remains the same as the second test. Peter Lakai comes in to start in the number six jersey.

Pollock tabled a £1 million Prem offer

RugbyPass have reported that Newcastle Red Bulls have tabled a three-year offer to Henry Pollock with a £1 million-a-year total valuation. 

England World Cup warm up matches announced 

England will play three warm up matches ahead of the 2027 World Cup in Australia. They will face off against Ireland, Italy and France, with the three games set to be played at Twickenham between August and September. 

Ronan O’Gara to extend at La Rochelle

Rugby Pass are reporting that Ronan O’Gara will sign a contract extension with La Rochelle deal, despite links to Leinster once Leo Cullen’s time at the Irish province will come to an end next summer.
