Tom Dunn is set to break the record for the most appearances for Bath in the professional era.
He will play his 266th game for Bath as they face Bordeaux Begles in the Champions Cup semi-final. The hooker has also made three appearances for England, all of which came in 2020, which also saw him play a part in England’s Six Nations win.
Tom Dunn- Record breaker
In May 2025, Dunn broke the club record for the most Prem appearances, but it has taken a year to surpass the overall record for Bath.
Dunn made his debut for Bath in a 2012 Challenge Cup game against Italian side, Galvisano. Other than short loan spells at London Scottish and Rotherham Titans, he played his full career at Bath.
In 2023, he became just the 10th player to break 200 club appearances for Bath, joining names like Nick Abendanon and Matt Banahan.
Dunn’s most dominant seasons came from 2022 on. In the 2022-23 season, he was Bath’s top tryscorer for the season, with 12 tries. This included an incredible hat-trick on the final day of the season against the Saracens.
In 2024-25, he was part of the Bath squad, which had one of the most memorable seasons in history. Bath hadn’t won a trophy since 1996 and won three in one year. They won the Prem Cup, Challenge Cup and then defeated the Leicester Tigers in the final of the Prem.
