EPCR Challenge Cup final details revealed

The details of the EPCR Challenge Cup final are set after the conclusion of the semi-finals. 

Ulster will play Montpellier in the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao.

The match will be played on Friday 22nd May at 8 pm in the UK.

Ulster earned a place in the final after a dominant second-half display against the Exeter Chiefs in Belfast. 

Both teams scored a converted try in the first-half but a Nathan Doak penalty on the stroke of halftime put the home side ahead 10-7. 

Ulster started the second-half strong and scored three tries to set them 29-7 ahead. Ridl scored late on to bring the score back to 29-12  but the home side were able to cruise to victory. 

Montpellier were put under a bit more pressure by the Dragons as the game finished 18-12. They were 13-5 ahead at halftime but picked up a yellow card just after halftime. Montpellier got a try, despite being down a man, going 18-5 ahead. The Dragons scored with seven minutes to go to set up an exciting finish. They couldn’t score and lost by six.
