All Blacks rocked with injury just hours before first test

The All Black have been hit with an injury just hours before they are due to take on the Springboks at Ellis Park.

Anton Segner, who impressed during the warmup games has withdrawn from the bench to be replaced by Simon Parker.

Segner appeared to have swollen ankle and when assessed further he has been diagnosed with acute inflammatory arthritis.
It is unclear whether the young German-born flanker will be available later in the series as the seriousness of his condition will be assessed further.

Segner earned a place in the squad after a man of the match performance against the Bulls.
