The All Blacks have won three in a row, including the last match against Italy. The Italians came flying out of the blocks in defence and kept the match close until halftime. The All Blacks held a 14-10 lead at halftime and then scored five second-half tries to seal a 47-17 win.

Ireland made a wide variety of rotations against Japan and still managed to extend their winning streak to six games. Andy Farrell was also able to give four players their debuts, including Sean Jansen who scored and will feature on the bench against his native All Blacks. They scored five tries and kept Japan to two tries, who were able to kick to keep the game closer.
