Zebre vs Dragons Challenge Cup quarter final preview as the sides clash at the Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi. 

These sides are currently ranked as the bottom two teams in the URC. Both teams have only won two games this season, although the Dragons have managed to draw three matches and are nine points ahead of Zebre in the table.

Zebre have been struggling in the URC but have done incredibly well in Europe. They have won two URC matches all year and haven’t won any since the 5th October. They have only lost one game in Europe this year, which came against Montpellier. In the last round, they beat a rotated Pau side 31-15. They went 14-0 ahead in 27 minutes and scored three more tries in the second half to seal the victory. 

Dragons (Away team): W-L-L-D-L

The Dragons won their only game in the last six when they defeated Stade Francais 36-31. They have also only won two matches this season, but have managed to draw three times. All of the Dragons’ URC wins came in a three-game spell at the end of December and the start of January. In the last round, the Dragons went out to a 17-0 lead in 21 minutes. With 15 minutes to go, they found themselves 31-22 behind but managed to score two tries in the last 10 minutes to seal a quarter-final place.
