Recent Form:

Leinster (Home team): W-W-L-L-W

Leinster had a disappointing pair of results during and after the Six Nations when they lost to Cardiff and Glasgow back-to-back. They put more points on the board against Edinburgh in the last round, scoring seven tries, but also gave up three intercept tries to win 49-31 against the Scottish strugglers.

Sale Sharks (Away team): W-L-L-L-L

The win in the last round against Harlequins brought to an end a difficult losing run in the Prem and Europe. They haven’t won in the Prem since Boxing Day. Sale had pushed out to a 26-5 lead before two Alex Dombrandt tries late on brought the game a little closer as it finished 26-17 to the away team.

Leinster vs Sale Sharks head-to-head record

Leinster and Sale have only met once in their history, and it came in December 2023. They won 37-27, and that was with Sale scoring two late tries to make the score a little bit more respectable in the end.
