Ireland vs Scotland preview as the Six Nations come to an end. The teams will be competing for the Triple Crown and will have an outside chance of winning the Championship.

For Scotland to win the Championship, they need to get more points than France, so they will be aiming to pick up a bonus point in this game. Ireland need to win the game and hope France lose in order to win the Championship. A win for Ireland would win their fourth Triple Crown in five years, whereas Scotland hasn’t won a Triple Crown since 1990.

Ireland finished the Autumn Series against South Africa poorly and started the Six Nations poorly in Paris, but have won three in a row since then. Their win over England was the standout performance with a 21 point winning margin. Against Wales in round four, they came up against a resilient Welsh defence and managed the game to get a bonus point victory.

Scotland (Away team): W-W-W-L-W

Scotland started the tournament disastrously with a defeat in Rome against Italy. They have won the three games since then. The standout was the incredible 50- 40 win over France. They had been 47-14 ahead. Scotland have struggled away from home, just beating Wales in the final moments at the Principality.
