Scotland v Wales. Welsh Player ratings.

Wales keep marching on. That’s thirteen wins on the bounce now. They were the best side in the first half but Scotland came back into it in the second period and ultimately had a chance to defeat Wales. The opportunity for a Scottish win came about through an improvement in their performance and Wales possibly switching off thinking the game had been won.

Wales could or maybe should have put more points on the board first half which would have reflected their superiority.

Some of the Welsh defence was very good to repel the Scottish attacks in the second half. Again the Welsh lineout isn’t quite clicking which will be a worry for the Welsh coaches.

Wales now have a chance for the Grand Slam at home against Ireland. There will be a few nervous Welsh fans sweating on the fitness of Liam Williams. Not a perfect performance by Wales but they have developed a good winning habit. Winning ugly is the sign of a good team.
