Leigh Halfpenny has been ruled out of Wales’ opening Six Nations match against France, as reported on BBC Sport.
The back has not played since he suffered a concussion on 10th November during Wales’ win over Australia in a friendly match in Cardiff.

He was clattered into by Semu Kerevi and Wales were left furious with the decision to not punish him.
The 30-year-old will now miss the trip to Paris on Friday 1st February as Wales look to challenge for the Six Nations title this year.
Speaking earlier this month, Scarlets’ coach Wayne Pivac said:
Leigh has seen the specialist and he will not be used for the next three to five weeks. He will continue doing what he has been doing, such as running and will then be reassessed.
It will be somewhere between three to five weeks but these things take time. That’s the time frame we’re looking at. Leigh won’t play before that. It will be Warren Gatland’s call then because the tournament runs for longer [than the time Halfpenny has been ruled out for].
Gatland will be hoping that he recovers from the concussion symptoms in time for the later matches of the tournament but he is not going to be risked until he is 100% fit.
