Munster flanker Tommy O’Donnell is set to miss the rest of the season after picking up a nasty shoulder injury, according to a report on the Irish Mirror.
The Irishman picked up the injury in last week’s Pro14 clash with Scarlets and after undergoing surgery it was revealed that he would not play again this season.

The injury was only first feared to keep him out of action for a couple of weeks but after further scans and surgery, there is no way that he could make a swift comeback before the season ends.
The flanker was missing from Munster’s entertaining victory over Toulon in the Champions Cup on the weekend and will now also miss the semi-final of the competition against Racing 92.
He only returned from a severe shoulder injury in December but a reoccurrence of the injury meant that he needed season-ending surgery.
He will be a big miss for Munster in their bid to win the Champions Cup this year but personally, he will be focused on getting himself back to full fitness to make a return to the pitch next season.
