Leicester Tigers are reportedly feeling good about Manu Tuilagi’s latest injury issue.
Leaving the field of play 12 minutes into Sunday’s 16-15 victory over Wasps, the centre is due to have a scan on his pectoral.

Having a serious injury in the same area back in 2013, Tigers head coach Matt O’Connor has been downplaying any potential similarities with the cases.
Speaking to BBC Radio Leicester, he said:
Manu is confident it’s not a massive issue. We’re quite optimistic,
It’s not overly severe. He knows how he felt over that one (the 2013 injury) and it’s not the same pec that he injured then.
Tuilagi, 26, missed the latter half of last season with a cruciate ligament problem.

Formerly an England international, Tuilagi has been snubbed by Eddie Jones to this point, his last appearance in a white jersey coming in 2016, during the Six Nations.
To get back to that level, consistent play at club level will be crucial – something which won’t be aided by continuous ailments.
Regardless, O’Connor reiterated the team’s hopefulness.
Our medical team think it’s not serious. We don’t have a game this week, so we can be patient. The longer you wait the more clarity you get.
