England and Saracens prop Billy Vunipola has been recalling the time he spent with the Queen earlier this year.
Speaking to BBC Radio Five Live’s Rugby Union Weekly podcast, Vunipola said he was very nervous to meet Her Majesty, and what they talked about may have inadvertently fat-shamed the 25-year-old!
When discussing matters with Vunipola, she stated that people were telling her rugby was a much faster, more sleek, athletic game than in years past.
The Queen then looked at the 290lbs England man and said “I can’t see it”.

Vunipola said that made him think he should start spending some time with the weights again!
Sidelined with a hand injury at present, Billy is having to watch brother Mako play in the Six Nations, where England have two wins from three games.
Despite their defeat to Scotland in the Calcutta Cup, England could still win the tournament in the final weekend when they play Ireland.
