Bath Rugby Head Coach, Mike Ford, has today told BBC Radio Bristol that Northampton Saints scrum half, Kahn Fotuali’i, will sign for them at the end of the current season.
The Samoan international, who has represented his country at the 2011 and 2015 World Cups, was part of the Saints side that won the Premiership back in 2014 after signing from the Ospreys in 2013.

Mike Ford expressed that the signing of the 33-year-old will add much needed experience to the current youthful side. Fotuali’i joins Luke Charteris and Taulupe Faletua in signing for the Saints for next seasons campaign.
Mike Ford added; “We’ve got some great youngsters but we’re going to get that experience, Luke Charteris in, (Taulupe) Faletua in and Kahn Fotuali’i in,”

The Samoan did express his sadness at leaving Northampton after a successful few years with the club; “I’ve enjoyed my time here. I’m sad to be leaving a big club.”
He added; “I’ve got another big challenge in front of me and I’m pretty excited about it.”
Northampton Saints have signed South African scrum half, Nic Groom from the Super Rugby side, The Stormers, who is expected to take the place of Fotuali’i.
