Former New Zealand international Mils Muliaina has officially completed a move away from Zebre to sign for San Francisco as the American side look to strengthen in the new league.
The PRO Rugby championship is a growing force in the world of the sport and with teams such as San Francisco making such impressive, high-calibre signings like Muliaina, the league’s reputation will continue to grow and attract more talent.
The move has been so widely approved amongst the Rugby world, that even PRO Rugby’s director, Steve Lewis, was quick to praise San Franciso’s acquisition of Muliaina.
We are excited to bring Mils to the United States and look forward to seeing him in San Francisco’s colours this spring.
He has a terrific track record and we are sure he will bring great knowledge and experience to both the league and our younger players in what are exciting times for American rugby.

The 35-year-old had been a key figure in his country’s side for the two years in which he represented the All Blacks, featuring between 2011 and 2013, making an impressive 100 appearances for his nation and becoming only the second player from New Zealand to reach a century of caps.
I am delighted and looking forward to being part of rugby history in the States. I’m excited to be able to play in the San Francisco Bay area and to work alongside and share my experience with some talented young players.
But now, as he gets older, a new challenge is desired and a move to America could be just that for the full-back.
Do you think Muliaina will be a success at San Francisco?
