Previous Six Nations Grand Slam Winners

By defeating France 31-21 at the Stade de France, England secured a Grand Slam victory in the Six Nations, their first since 2003.

The England side that won the Grand Slam 13 years ago went on to win the Rugby World Cup later in the same year.

Whilst the current side won’t be competing for glory on the World stage this year, they will be delighted to be crowned as the best team in the Northern Hemisphere under the guidance of new Head Coach Eddie Jones.

Victories away to Scotland and Italy and at home to Wales and Ireland gave England their 100% record going into the encounter in Paris and they didn’t fall at the final hurdle thanks to tries from Danny Care, Dan Cole and Anthony Watson and the boot of Owen Farrell.

Since the competition was expanded to six teams back in 2000, nine teams have now won the Grand Slam and we’ve taken a look at them all:
