Six Nations: Round four Team of the Week

The penultimate weekend of RBS Six Nations rugby this year proved to be a pivotal one as England were once again crowned champions for the first time since 2011 as they secured a 25-21 victory over championship rivals Wales at Twickenham.

Yet despite the result all but securing the title for Eddie Jones’ side it was Scotland’s emphatic 29-18 victory over France that eventually crowned the new champions as Guy Noves’ side were no longer mathematically able to contest the title with England.

And unsuccessful defending champions Ireland finally managed to secure their first win of the championships after recording a commanding nine-try win over bottom of the table Italy, winning 58-15.

But before looking ahead to the final round of fixtures in the 2016 Six Nations championships as Wales take on Italy, Ireland face Scotland and England host France, we look back at last weekend’s action and select our Team of the Week for the fourth round:
