England duo receive call-up

An updated training squad for England has been announced, in advance of their clash with Italy in Rome on Sunday.

The 27-man training squad now features Matt Kvesic and Josh Beaumont; in turn, Elliot Daly and Maro Itoje are also joining the 23 players who assisted England in their victory over island rivals, Scotland.

Kvesic and Beaumont – both back-rows, were dropped for the Saturday match at Murrayfield, as England beat Scotland 15-9.

Kvesic has played for his international side twice before, making his debut back in 2013.
