Ospreys and Wales scrum-half Rhys Webb is set to return from a long injury lay-off on Saturday, says the South Wales Evening Post.
Webb suffered a serious foot injury in Wales’s World Cup warm up match against Italy back in September, which subsequently ruled him out of the 2015 World Cup as well as the 2015/16 Pro12 season, up until now.

The Ospreys have really missed Webb’s presence out on the pitch, with Tom Habberfield or Brendan Leonard filling in for Steve Tandy. With Webb regularly at number-nine for the Ospreys this campaign, they could have perhaps pushed further up the Pro12 table, with the 27-year-old’s creativity and sharpness in attack a priceless asset for the Welsh club.
Wales on the other hand have coped pretty well without Webb, with Scarlets’ scrum-half Gareth Davies filling the void very convincingly indeed. Davies had a very impressive World Cup and is now Wales’s first-choice nine in the absence of Webb.
Now, the 16-capped Wales international, Webb is ready to play for Ospreys in their Pro12 clash away to Munster on Saturday, which is a huge boost for Steve Tandy and Warren Gatland.
