Former England head coach Stuart Lancaster is apparently considering a role with South African side Stormers after spending some time with the side.
Following local media speculation including Afrikaans-language newspapers in Cape Town (Reuters) stating that the ashamed coach had signed for the club as a consultant to the newly appointed coaching team, the Stormers director of rugby Gert Smal played down the rumours:
Stuart’s been on a tour of Australia and New Zealand to see how they do things there and when he asked to come and spend a bit of time here, we happily agreed. He’s got a lot of experience and expertise to share.

With the 21st Super Rugby season soon to kick off from February 26, the Stormers have been looking to appoint an emergency replacement for Eddie Jones after the 55-year-old Australian reneged on his decision to take over the South African side in favour of taking the England job only a week after being unveiled.
Former Springbok centre Robbie Fleck has now been appointed instead and Lancaster has already helped out by participating in practice sessions whilst also making presentations to the coaching staff.
However, it remains to be seen as to whether the 48-year-old will take on any more responsibilities with the Stormers.
