Leicester Tigers made it two victories over Munster in two weeks as they beat the Irish side 17-6.
Munster opened the scoring through an Ian Keatley kick from just inside the Leicester 22 seven minutes into the game.
Leicester scored their first try through Ed Slater, the lock using brute force to get the ball over the line after a lineout. Freddie Burns went on to convert to give Tigers a 7-3 lead.
Burns increased the Tigers’ lead in the 36th minute, kicking between the posts to make it 10-3. Dom Barrow recieved a yellow card on the cusp of halftime for playing the ball offside, and Ian Keatley scored the resulting kick to decreas the defecit.

Four minutes into the second half, Munster thought they had taken the lead, however the try was ruled out for a forward pass.
Keatley wasted a golden opportunity to reduce the Leicester lead to one point, when he put a relatively simple kick from the left flank, 34m out, wide.
Some defensive brilliance from Tigers centre Telusa Veainu prevented a Munster try by chasing Frances Saili almost the length of the pitch, and forcing him to pass wide to Zebo, who was then tackled by a Tigers player, and gave away a penalty to Leicester. After the game, Richard Cockerill praised this as ‘the moment that won us the game’.

Leicester got their second try thanks to Vereniki Goneva, collecting the ball after an impressive break by Peter Beetham to secure victory for Leicester. Burns converted to make the final score 17-6 to Leicester.
The win sees Leicester go eight points clear at the top of Pool 4, while Munster remain third, and needing a miracle to qualify.
