This weekend sees the return of the Champions Cup and Bath go away to London Wasps. These two sides have already clashed this season in the Aviva Premiership, with Wasps emerging as victors. Therefore, with qualification into the next round of the competition still open to all, both sides will be looking to earn a win this weekend.
Wasps and Bath currently sit first and second respectively in their group in the competition and so both teams will be looking to put some ground between them and both Leinster and Toulon to give them a decent opportunity to carry on to the next round of the competition.

Mike Ford’s side will take on Wasps away from home and so will need to improve on this season’s current form if they have any hope of overcoming them. When the two sides last played, Wasps ran away with a 16-9 victory and so Bath will be looking to regain some pride this weekend.
This game should be a very good watch – both sides will be eager to claim more points in Europe. Given their current poor form, it is expected that Bath will come into the game slightly wary. However, last season’s Premiership runners-up have the pedigree to win against any team in the world and so I expect them to earn a big win.
