Argentinian lock Mariano Galarza has renewed his contract at Gloucester.
Galarza, who has had a roller-coaster of a career at the Aviva Premiership outfit, has now penned a new deal under Laurie Fisher.
The Argentinian international signed for Gloucester from Worcester Warriors in 2013, but his game-time at the Kingsholm Stadium has been very sparse ever since – mainly due to injuries.
“It’s time to show what I can do,” Galarza told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

“I feel good at the club, I’m enjoying myself, so I’m happy to be here.”
“I feel the club has done a lot for me over the past two seasons,” he added. “I have been injured twice, I’ve been banned during the World Cup and the club has always supported me in these situations.
“I feel I owe the club a lot.”
The 28-year-old lock featured for Gloucester in their European Challenge Cup victory over Edinburgh last season, and the went and played for Argentina in the 2015 World Cup.
However, Galarza’s tournament ended abruptly, earning himself a nine-week ban after foul play in their 26-16 loss to New Zealand. He was cited for making contact ‘with the eye or eye area’ on Brodie Retallick.
Gazarla is now back in action in the Premiership and is becoming a key figure in the Gloucester forwards.
