England centre Manu Tuilagi is being chased by both Worcester and Wasps after it was revealed that Premiership clubs can have more money to spend on players, as per ESPN.
The increase of the Premiership salary cap by a further £1million added to the fact that clubs will be able to have two players whose wages are exempt from the cap, means that more clubs will be prepared to try and tempt Tuilagi away from Leicester.
The 24-year-old hasn’t played for over a year due to a serious groin injury, but that has seemingly not deterred numerous clubs from chasing him.

Saracens and Toulouse are also said to be interested in Tuilagi, but Leicester are keen to keep him and are confident that they’ll be able to.
Tigers manager Richard Cockerill says that he is keen to keep the centre at Welford Road, and hopes that the lucrative offer that they’ve made him will convince him to stay.
He said:
We have put our best foot forward, contractually. There are probably 10 years left in him and we would like him to be here for the next 10 years. We have made that known to him.
He wants to stay here and we have made an offer that would make him up there with the highest-paid players in the world. We are just waiting for that answer. We would like to think that it will get done sooner rather than later.
