Toulouse have recently confirmed the signing of Scotland International lock Richie Gray from Top 14 rivals Castres.
The club president Jean-Rene Bouscatel said that ‘it’s a big signing which will strengthen our squad next season’ on Tuesday in a press conference located in the south-west of France.
The twenty-six year old international has 51 caps to his name and played for Castres since 2013, after a short spell in Sale and four years in Scotland playing for Glasgow Warriors.
Bouscatel spoke to the press in a conference after Toulouse returned to their stadium after a multi-million euro renovation that lasted two and half years.
Toulouse next host European Champions Toulon back at their stadium – who were recently thrashed 32-6 at the Ricoh Arena, being defeated by Premiership side Wasps. The match will be played on the 27th of December. After that the likes of Saracens and Stade Francais will travel to Toulouse.
Bouscatel continued to say that ‘It’s a huge relief and great joy to return to the Stadium.’
Toulouse remain second in the Top 14, just two points behind Clermont.
