The Daily Express are reporting today that Northampton Saints and Wasps are both in contention for Louis Picamoles contract. The French player claims he has yet to make a decision on his future.
With Bath and Montpelier also rumoured to be interested in the number eight, his decision grows even more difficult.
However, the 29-year-old, who played in France’s World Cup quarter-final loss to New Zealand last weekend, is still contracted with Toulouse until 2016.
Speaking with French outlet RMC Sport, Picamoles stated: “There are a lot of things being said now.
“Me, this week, I’m on vacation. I try first of all to digest this disappointment and end of the difficult World Cup.
“I will talk with my club, Stade Toulousain, next week.”
He went on to say no deal has been made yet and he will make his final decision when he returns from vacation with his family to meet with Toulouse management in a weeks time.
He has made 150 appearances for current club Toulouse, racking up 110 points for the French side. The Frenchman has made over 50 appearances for his country, and in those has scored a total of 30 points.
