Leinster vs Toulon Champions Cup semi-final preview as the sides meet at the Aviva Stadium. 

Leinster progressed to the semi-final after a comfortable win over Sale Sharks in the quarter-final, while Toulon pulled off two narrow wins in the knockout stages.

Leinster have won four of their last five matches, which include the two wins in the Champions Cup knockout stages. In their last game in the URC, Leinster conceded a last-minute penalty to Benetton to lose. They lost 29-26, having had a 19-5 lead just after halftime. They conceded three second-half tries, which left it 26-26 when the clock went into the red.

Toulon have been in great form since their Champions Cup round of 16 win over the Stormers. They have won four in a row, with their last two league matches being by a substantial margin. Their two knockout wins in the Champions Cup have been by three points or less. In the last round against Bayonne, they scored eight tries as they won 52-26. They scored five in the first half to take a dominant 33-12 lead at half-time.

Toulon have won all four meetings between these sides, all of which came in an 18-month period when Toulon were in their pomp in 2014 and 2015.
