Stormers vs Connacht preview as the sides clash at the DHL Stadium.

The Stormers are flying high with 11 wins from 14 games this season and sit just four points behind the Glasgow Warriors in first place in the table.

Connacht currently sit ninth in the table, just outside the playoff places. They sit two points behind Cardiff and Munster in seventh and eighth. An away win in South Africa would be massive for their playoff hopes.

The Stormers have won their last three URC matches but did crash out of the Champions Cup at the round of 16 stage. The Stormers have only lost once at home this season, and this came to fellow South Africans, the Sharks.

In their most recent game, they lost by one point to Toulon. The ball got held up by Charles Ollivon of Toulon on the line, and the Stormers narrowly missed out. They were in a position to have gone for a drop-goal.

Connacht have won their last five URC games in a row, which has given them a massive boost in their league position. They lost out in the Challenge Cup quarter-final to a very impressive Montpellier side, who scored a total of seven tries. The game looked relatively close when Connacht scored early in the second half, but the home side scored three more tries, while Connacht only managed one.
