Champions Cup 2026 Quarter Final Fixtures

Bath vs Northampton Saints

Friday 10th April, 8 pm (UK)

Bath made it to the Champions Cup quarter finals with a 31-22 win over Saracens. Bath had defeated Saracens comfortably in the Prem just a few weeks ago, and the expectation was that this game would be comfortable too. Saracens actually took a 10-0 lead into halftime. Bath turned on their scoring ability in the second half, and they scored five second-half tries, compared to the Saracens’ two tries.

Northampton Saints opened up the Champions Cup round of 16 with a Friday night thriller against Castres. Similar to Bath, they were behind at halftime, sitting at 15-14, having been 12-0 down. The second half saw nine tries between the two teams, including five for Northampton, to win the game 49-41. Henry Pollock got himself into some bother as he had several clashes with the French opposition.

Glasgow Warriors vs Toulon

Saturday 11th April, 3 pm (UK)

Glasgow progressed as 25-21 winners against the Bulls. Handre Pollard kicked three penalties in the first half to take a 14-12 lead into the second half.  Glasgow scored two tries and kicked a penalty in the second half to win 25-21.

Toulon played out an incredible 28-27 win over the Stormers. Toulon put in an outstanding defensive effort in the final 10 minutes to hold up the Stormers twice over the line. The Stormers opted not to go for a drop goal in the final phase and got held up to end the game.

Leinster vs Sale Sharks

Saturday 11th April, 5:30 pm (UK)

Leinster played out the final game of the weekend as they beat Edinburgh 49-31. The Dubliners looked as if they were going to make it a comfortable victory as they went 14-0 ahead in nine minutes. Edinburgh didn’t just lie down, though, and they took the lead in the 51st minute. Leinster scored three unopposed converted tries in the remainder of the game to win by 18 points.

Sale Sharks overcame their Prem rivals Harlequins 26-17 to find themselves in the quarter finals. With four George Ford penalties and a converted try, Sale took a 19-0 lead into halftime. Harlequins brought themselves back within nine points with 13 minutes to go, thanks to two Alex Dombrandt tries, but they couldn’t score in the last 13 minutes to bring it any closer.

Bordeaux Beagles vs Toulouse

Sunday 12th April, 3 pm (UK)

Bordeaux Beagles cruised to the quarter finals with a massive win over Leicester Tigers. It took just six minutes for Bordeaux to get on the board, and they scored nine tries on their way to a 64-14 victory with Louis Bialle-Bierrey as the star of the show.

Toulouse also came out with a comfortable 59-26 win over the Bristol Bears, surprisingly going 7-0 behind early on. They scored 49 points in the first half to go 40-7 ahead and led 59-12 with 20 minutes to go. Bristol scored two late tries to make the score a little more predictable.
