France vs England Six Nations preview at the Stade de France as the home side chase a second Six Nations Championship in a row.

France sit top of the table despite their defeat in round four as they have the better points difference compared to Scotland, who are on the same points as them. A bonus point win in this match would secure the Championship. England started the tournament with a win over Wales, but have lost three since then. They sit just five points ahead of Wales, and a heavy loss could lead to them finishing in bottom place if Wales get a bonus point win against Italy.

Recent Form:

France (Home team): L-W-W-W-W

France looked set to make this game a Grand Slam decider, but they got absolutely blown away by Scotland at Murrayfield. The game finishing 50-40 made the game look closer than it actually was. With roughly 15 minutes to go, Scotland took a 47-14 lead. Before that, they had been clear victors in the other three games and had been on a five-game winning run.

England (Away team): L-L-L-W-W

England opened up the tournament with a strong win over Wales, but have lost all three games in a row since then. They lost last weekend, which was the first time in their history that they have lost to Italy. They also lost their other away game to Scotland and suffered their worst ever defeat at Twickenham to Ireland.
