England duo involved in post-match argument with supporters

Harlequins and England duo Mike Brown and Joe Marler were involved in a post-match row with supporters following their 23-12 by South Africa in Bloemfontein, the BBC report.

Brown and Marler were involved in the heated exchange shortly after the full-time whistle, with boss Eddie Jones admitting after the game he did not see the incident.

Jones himself was involved in an incident with supporters following the first Test defeat, with a small section of South African fans slamming the head coach as he made his way down the tunnel.

The defeat in Bloemfontein was England’s fifth straight Test defeat, which started against Scotland in the Six Nations.

Many, including former England scrum-half Matt Dawson, believe Jones has lost the dressing room and is having doubts over his future, with current scrum-half Ben Youngs walking away from a television interview after just one question.

England’s third and final Test is scheduled to take place in Cape Town on Saturday, and it could have a huge effect on the future of Jones.
