Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend has said that his team will need a once in a lifetime performance to get past England in the Six Nations this weekend.
The Scots have started their tournament with a win and a loss, the defeat coming at the hands of Wales in emphatic fashion on the opening weekend.

Heading back to Murrayfield, it was a troublesome start to their match against France as Teddy Thomas found his way across for a pair of early tries, but a gutsy second half display saw a 32-26 victory for the home team.
With fierce opponents ahead in the form of England, Townsend isn’t underestimating the challenge ahead of his team.
Speaking to BBC Scotland, he said:
It is great for our players to test themselves against the best,
You can tell when the players are preparing, it is a top team we are playing against. It is England.

Beyond preparations, Townsend knows it will take a colossal effort to beat Eddie Jones’ men.
We have got to deliver our best in training this week, and when it comes to Saturday afternoon, we have got to deliver our best-ever performance.
The top man in Scottish rugby may have reason for optimism, however. A very strong performance in the Autumn Internationals saw wins over Tonga, Australia, and a narrow loss to New Zealand.
Townsend has named an unchanged team for the Calcutta Cup, whilst Jones has been forced into one change.
