Scotland name unchanged side for England match

Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend has named an unchanged line-up for the match against England this weekend, according to a report on BBC Sport.

The manager is keeping faith with the same side that ended up winning against France in their last fixture and will be hoping that the players can produce the goods once again against England at Murrayfield.

He has made three changes to his replacements, giving call-ups to fit-again prop Willem Nel, lock Tim Swinson and centre Nick Grigg.

Scotland bounced back from an embarrassing opening-round loss against Wales and seem to have their confidence back after beating France, but face a huge task against defending champions England.

Townsend said:

The players put a huge amount of effort into our win over France. They found a way to win and kept attacking the opposition up until the final whistle.

Taking on England is going to be a huge challenge and we are well aware that only our very best will be good enough in this fixture.

Murrayfield is expected to be packed for this fixture on Saturday afternoon as Scotland look to help to prevent England from becoming the first side in history to win the Six Nations tournament three times in succession.
