Jonathan Davies looks set to miss the remainder of the rugby season, this according to his coach at Scarlets Wayne Pivac.
The 29-year-old won the man of the series award in the 2017 British and Irish Lions tour, and was expected to be a pivotal part of Wales’ Six nations campaign this year.

Unfortunately, a serious foot injury sustained in an Autumn International against Australia has kept Davies sidelined all winter – and Pivac isn’t expecting him back anytime soon.
Pivac said:
Obviously Jon will be chomping at the bit to try and get back on the field as soon as possible,
He’s progressing but it is one of those injuries that takes a long time to heal. If you come back too soon and re-do it, that can be disastrous
Given his team’s performance in the PRO 14 this year. one can understand Pivac’s caution. With Scarlets having won 11 of 14 matches in the league, they can also look forward to a quarter final clash with La Rochelle in European play.

I don’t think he’ll be right for the quarter final but we’ve got our fingers and toes crossed that he will be… he’s a quality player.
Whether or not Scarlets have a healthy Jonathan Davies though, you would expect to see the team be competitive all the same.
