Wales head coach Warren Gatland said he expected his side to inflict a heavy defeat on rivals Scotland, despite having an injury hit squad, Rugby Pass report.
Gatland looked on as his side opened up their Six Nations campaign by brushing Scotland aside in a 34-7 victory in Cardiff on Saturday.
The Scottish side and fans were left shell shocked after the match, in a match where Leigh Halfpenny starred, claiming a personal 24-point tally including two tries.

Talking to the media after the win, New Zealander Gatland seemed fairly relaxed after his side’s win.
It was an afternoon that I was expecting, we did go into the game expecting to win and win reasonably comfortably. I said to the chief executive [of the WRU, Martyn Phillips] that the guys will win by 20, he looked a little bit shocked but that was how well we trained.
Gatland also thought his side could have scored 20 points more than the 34 they racked up, however, the head coach was pleased to have gained a bonus point from the performance.
Wales now travel to Twickenham to face defending champions England next Saturday, who themselves are seeking a record breaking third consecutive crown under Eddie Jones.
