Four Findings: Scarlets 6-9 Glasgow Warriors

The Scarlets fell to their fourth loss in this season’s European Champions Cup as they went down 6-9 to Glasgow Warriors at Parc y Scarlets.

The boot of Scotland international Finn Russell was enough to secure victory for the visitors and keep his side in contention for a quarter-final place.

Meanwhile, the West Walians will be desperate to avoid a whitewash having missed an opportunity to get a result against their PRO12 rivals – fly-half Aled Thomas missing a long-range penalty late on.

So with both teams learning very different things from Saturday’s encounter, here are four findings.
