The Scarlets will be without DTH van der Merwe and John Barclay as they look to get their European Champions Cup campaign back on track against Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun.
The former Warriors both miss out through injury, although the west Walians will be bolstered by the return of Wales prop Rhodri Jones in his first start of the season.
Jones will be eager to get back into the action, having been absent since dislocating his shoulder in January.
Gareth Davies returns at scrum-half as hooker Emyr Phillips lead the region in the absense of Ken Owens.

Wayne Pivac has made nine changes to the side which beat Treviso last week to go top of the Pro12, but his team still boast eight internationals as they head to Scotland for the must-win game.
Meanwhile, hooker James Malcolm will finally make his first start for the hosts.
The hooker had been due to start against Leinster last week, only for the match to be postponed due to severe weather conditions.
However, Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend, fresh from signing a contract extension, picked the same side that would have played last weekend.
“We’ve gone with the same starting XV which would have played last weekend, as those players deserve the opportunity,” Townsend told BBC Scotland.
Both sides have yet to win a game in the competition – the Scarlets losing against Northampton and Racing 92, while the Warriors have lost just one with their other match against Racing postponed following the Paris attacks.
The last time these two met was at the start of the season, when a Scarlets side who spent some of the match down to 12 men edged out a 16-10 victory at Scotstoun.
The region will be hoping for something similar and have won all four of the previous European encounters between the sides.
