Following an intense and outstanding opening game to the quarter-finals stage of this year’s Rugby World Cup Welsh hearts were broken after Flourie Du Preez’s late try that earned his side a place in the semi-finals against reigning world champions New Zealand, who demolished France last night.
Despite a spirited performance from Gatland’s side Wales were pipped to the finish line by the finest of margins and will undoubtedly be disappointed not to have won the game in the end.
