The Millennium Stadium was treated once more to a fantastic Rugby World Cup quarter-final clash with both nations looking to book a place in the semi-final.

With Ireland struggling to overcome the injuries that were inflicted in their last Pool D win against France Argentina were quietly confident of securing a victory after a number of outstanding performances in Pool C, finishing second to New Zealand.

And despite coming into the stadium clearly feeling as an away side as the terraces were awash with green jerseys the side defied all odds and managed to secure an ultimately comfortable victory.
