Ireland WXV Tickets Put Bemand’s Green Wave Back On Home Soil

Ireland Women have put tickets on sale for three home Tests that will shape the opening phase of Scott Bemand’s 2026/27 campaign.

The IRFU confirmed on 29 June that Ireland will begin the inaugural WXV Global Series with home fixtures against USA and Japan before travelling to Cape Town for a two-Test run against South Africa.

Tallaght Stadium will stage its first Women’s Test when Ireland face USA on Sunday, 20 September. Galway’s Dexcom Stadium then hosts Japan on Sunday, 27 September, before Ireland meet Japan again in a non-WXV Test at Virgin Media Park in Cork on Saturday, 3 October.

Why The Fixture List Matters

The schedule gives Bemand’s squad three domestic touchpoints before a demanding South African finish. It also pushes Ireland Women beyond one central venue, taking the programme into Dublin, Galway and Cork during a critical growth window after their Women’s Six Nations momentum.

  • Ireland v USA – Tallaght Stadium, 20 September, 13:45
  • Ireland v Japan – Dexcom Stadium, 27 September, 12:45
  • Ireland v Japan – Virgin Media Park, 3 October, 14:00
  • South Africa v Ireland – Athlone Stadium, Cape Town, 24 and 31 October

Bemand described the run as an important chance to connect with supporters and build the Green Wave, with USA and Japan offering contrasting tests before the squad moves into a tougher away series.

The ticket launch therefore lands as more than a sales update. It confirms Ireland’s autumn pathway, widens the team’s home footprint and extends the platform built by figures such as former Ireland captain Claire Molloy.

For Bemand, the WXV Global Series now has an immediate Irish staging point.
