The Top 14 has a playoff structure, with the top six qualifying for the next phase of the competition. The top two will automatically advance to the semi-finals and face the winners of the playoffs among teams who finish between third and sixth.
Top eight also hold some significance as these teams qualify for the Champions Cup next year.
Toulon vs Toulouse (8th vs 1st)
Toulon come into this game off the back of the disappointing defeat to Leinster in Dublin in the Champions Cup.
Toulouse had a week off as they were out of European action.
Toulouse are 12 points clear and are almost guaranteed of a top-two spot.
A win for Toulon would be massive. They sit five points behind Bordeaux and Racing in sixth and seventh. They are also only one point ahead of La Rochelle, who currently sit in ninth.
Racing 92 vs La Rochelle (7th vs 9th)
Racing and La Rochelle are separated by six points from seventh to ninth. The Paris club have a great chance to book a place in the playoffs as they sit only five points behind Pau in second. Each win for this remaining period in the year is crucial to book a place in the top six. Racing have three home games in their final four and will need to take advantage of this.
For La Rochelle, a win could put them above Toulon in eighth, but they will not be catchable by any of the teams below them.
Pau vs Castres (2nd vs 10th)
Pau and Castres have very different goals for the remainder of the year. They sit a distant second to Toulon but are in stiff competition for that automatic semi-final spot. Only five points separate Pau and seventh-placed Racing. For Castres, they have an outside chance of reaching the top six, while mainly pushing for the top eight. On 48 points, they are seven points behind eighth and 12 points behind the top six.
