Jack Willis reveals he chose to stay with Toulouse
Willis spoke to Ben Youngs and Dan Cole on the For the Love of Rugby podcast, sharing his experiences from his time in Toulouse. He revealed that initially, after the Wasps folded, he was left with no feasible offer other than Toulouse. He has since extended his contract with Toulouse, knowing that it will mean no England call-ups in the near future.
Canada will host Red Roses for a repeat of the 2025 World Cup final
The game will take place in October and will see the finalists from the 2015 World Cup meet again after the Red Roses won the match 33-13. This game will form part of the new WXV series, and the Canada Women’s side will play in Toronto for the first time in 15 years.
Gallagher Prem player of the month nominees named
The Gallagher Prem have revealed their player of the month nominees for April. The list of four players have scored an incredible amount of tries, had match-winning moments and impressed consistently. Noah Caluori and Gabriel Hamer-Webb have both scored five tries in a single game. Fin Smith has scored game-winning tries in the last two matches, and Kaleveti Ravouvou has helped the Bristol Bears to two 50+ scoreline wins in April. He scored three tries across the two matches.
Edinburgh announce the signing Louie Chapman
Edinburgh announced this morning that they would be signing a Scotland-qualified scrum-half from the Crusaders in New Zealand. Louie Chapman is a 25-year-old and will be the second New Zealand recruit coming to Edinburgh, alongside Riley Higgins.
