Bulls vs Munster URC preview as the sides clash at Loftus Versfield, in the second game of Munster’s South African tour. 

The sides sit four points apart in sixth and eighth. If both finished in these positions, they would make it to the playoffs. However, Connacht wait in ninth, level on points with the Bulls waiting for either of these sides to slip up.

The Bulls have won four out of the last five games, only losing to their South African counterparts, the Stormers. Their last three matches have come at home, and in the last round they beat Cardiff comfortably, 40-7. Cardiff took a 7-0 lead, but the Bulls had taken a 12-7 lead by 14 minutes, and four more tries sealed the game comfortably.

Munster (Away team): L-W-L-W-L

Munster have been struggling for form recently, only beating the Dragons and Zebre in their last eight matches. In the first game of their South African tour, they suffered a huge 45-0 defeat to the Sharks. They conceded seven tries, including three in the final five minutes. Munster have welcomed back a number of Ireland internationals this week, most notably Craig Casey and Jack Crowley in the 9 and 10 shirts.
