Bulls vs Cardiff Blues URC preview as the sides meet at the Loftus Versfield Stadium.

Cardiff currently sit securely in the playoff positions in 5th on 40 points, while the Bulls sit in eighth place on 30 points. Cardiff will look to make a push towards the top four with a win, as they currently sit five points off first place and one point off second. For the Bulls, a win could only see them rise as high as seventh, but defeat could technically see them drop as low as 10th, who are only one point behind them.

Recent Form:

Bulls (Home team): L-W-W-W-W

The Bulls returned from the Champions Cup break in January with a vengeance, winning three in a row, including huge wins over the Lions and the Sharks. In the catch-up game that they played against the Stromers, they lost 32-19 at home. They held a lead for most of the first half, but the Stormers were able to put too much scoreboard pressure on them, and the Bulls scored a late try to make the scoreline look more respectable.

Cardiff (Away team): W-L-W-L-W

Cardiff picked up an incredible win in the fallow week over Leinster. They were able to use the awful conditions to hold out for an 8-7 victory. Just before the Six Nations, they had lost by seven points away to high-flying Ulster, but had won against Benetton the week before.

The Bulls scored 45 points in both of their home wins over Cardiff, while their wins in Cardiff have both been by 10 points or less.
