Four Findings: Bordeaux 33-27 Ospreys

On Saturday, Ospreys faced Bordeaux-Begles at the Stade Chaban-Delmas in the European Champions’ Cup.

The Welsh club beat Bordeaux last week at the Liberty Stadium, but it was always going to be a huge struggle to gain another victory against the Top 14 side on their own patch.

Berend Botha and Sofiane Guitoune added to the score-line before half-time – but eventually it was the Frenchmen who won despite a spirited second-half showing from the Ospreys. Eli Walker, Alun-Wyn Jones and Dan Biggar scoring for Steve Tandy’s men to acquire two very handy losing bonus points.
