Bath are targeting Wales lock Luke Charteris for next season to help bolster their pack in order to make another push for the Aviva Premiership title.
The 32-year-old left Newport Gwent Dragons in 2012 before playing at Perpignan and Racing 92 and is set to be out of contract at the end of the current domestic season and Owen Rawlings writing for the BBC reports that Bath may make a move for the Welshman
A possible return to the Dragons could be on the cards for the player but Kingsley Jones, the Dragons’ coach admitted that although he would be interested in bringing Charteris back to the club, he would find it difficult to outbid any English or French clubs who showed an interest.

Bath recently missed out on the signing of Taulupe Faletau but still boast three other Welsh players in their squad in the form of Dominic Day, Jonathan Evans and most recently, Rhys Priestland.
Bath were runners-up last season for the Aviva Premiership title and so will be looking to add both depth and quality to their squad if they maintain their hopes of winning the title this season.
