Wales prop Samson Lee believes they can fix their scrum problems they suffered against England.
Wales conceded four scrum penalties against England and came very much second-best in that critical set piece area at Twickenham.
Despite having issues with the scrum and up-front Warren Gatland’s side claimed a dramatic 28-25 win against their fierce rivals to keep themselves on course for a quarter-final spot.
Speaking to the Mail Online, Lee said: “It was a tough day at the office.
“We always knew they were going to be a difficult pack to go up against.
“We have to sort out whatever we need to get right and then take it into the Fiji match on Thursday. The problems are 100 percent fixable.”
Wales sit on top of Pool A with Fiji and what could be a crucial encounter against Australia yet to play.
Lee looks set to start on Thursday against Fiji after suffering from injury problems that have stalled his progress in the last 12 months.
The Welsh prop spent six months on the sidelines with a serious Achilles problem and then suffered a tight muscle during Wales’ 54-9 World Cup win against Uruguay.
Wales have so far had bad luck in terms of players picking up injuries at this year’s World Cup, but Lee is hoping he can overcome his fitness concerns.
“I feel much better going into this game, every match I play, I will feel better in terms of my fitness. I feel pretty good in terms of my fitness,” he added.
