In an incredible revelation of events during Northampton’s 19-15 victory over Glasgow Scotland on Sunday, it has been rumoured that Glasgow flanker Ryan Wilson allegedly committed an extremely bizarre act on Northampton scrum-half Lee Dickson; by grabbing his testicles during the match.
The emerging news of Wilson’s actions have shocked many, and inevitably amused thousands, however, the price that the Glasgow man could pay as a result of his outrageous tackling tactic is considerably large.
The 26-year-old could be faced with a hefty ban that could result in him missing up to 12 weeks of competitive action for both club and country, but only if Wilson’s disciplinary hearing which is set to take place on Wednesday comes to a conclusive decision regarding his actions.

It comes as no surprise to see Wilson land himself in trouble after clutching Dickson’s genitals in the 25th minute of the tie, as the official World Rugby guidelines state that any twisting, squeezing or grabbing of the testicles will result in a minimum of a 12 week ban, that could be set to increase to 18 weeks for a mid-range offence.
However, one punishment that Wilson will be looking to avoid is if the offence is deemed as a high-scaled one, as it could potentially rule the Glasgow flanker out of action for at least 24 weeks.
